V The new VIVIAN GEORGE album SHAMELESS has finished recording at ROSCOE's in Detroit and is slated for a 2005 spring release. Much much thanks to Producer VINNIE DOMBROSKI (Sponge/Crud) , guest guitarists LIZ LARIN , ROSCOE (MC5) and JOEY MAZZOLA (Detroit Cobras) , bassist JOHN DUNN (Liz Larin/The Orbitsuns) , TIM PATALIN (The Fags) and SIR TIM DUVALIER (The Orbitsuns) . The title track from this soon to be released album SHAMELESS was picked up for the soundtrack of two multi-award winning television series DEGRASSI The Next Generation and THE 11TH HOUR. Both shows will air in January 2004 . 2002 saw the release of two cd's THIS LOVE and I DON'T WANT ANYTHING . Produced by award winning LINDY and DARYN BARRY these songs were stripped and recorded for the audiences who have been asking for a take home version of VIVIAN's acoustic shows. Three of these tracks were recorded at Monster Music with 2003 Oscar/Grammy winner LUIS RESTO (Lose Yourself / Eminem 8 Mile Soundtrack). In 2001, VIN DOMBROSKI along with TIM PATALIN produced THE LOFT SESSIONS a three song industry release. Recorded at THE LOFT STUDIOS in Michigan this CD kicked off what is now Detroit's driving force behind VIV's breakout in the US market. In 1997 VIVIAN released hARD produced by KEN MYHR (Cowboy Junkies, Jane Siberrey) - a follow up to her Canadian debut release STRONGER FOR THE FALL . The title track ‘ hARD ' placed third out of 1500 entries in the MIX 99.9 radio songwriting competition, receiving airplay all across Canada. The singles hARD as well as ROLL OVER were chosen for THE CONTRACT a '98 CANNES FILM FESTIVAL feature. ROLL OVER and I CAN'T – the soundtrack of ROGERS/AT&T'S PAY AS YOU GO commercials. The single WAKE TO WEEP was picked up for the film soundtrack of KAREFUL . VIVIAN'S single " THE CHRISTMAS SONG " was produced by MATTHEW GERRARD (Lizzy McGuire Movie Soundtrack, Hillary Duff debut CD, Jessica Simpson, Nick and Aaron Carter, Popstars Soundtrack USA and Mandy Moore). (and I know they say no one cares who you've billed with but if you care.....Nickleback, Pat Benetar, David J. (Bahaus/Love & Rockets), OMC, David Wilcox, Lindy, The Wild Strawberries, Dodgy, The Trews, Alannah Myles....and performed at Lollapalooza, CBGB's, Ontario Place, LULU's, CMW, NXNE & Bluebird North...
